It all started with a beehive, a lot of love for bees and a dream.

Two friends who got together and founded the first Brazilian company to work with propolis, at a time when not even the Ministry of Agriculture recognized the product.

1983

PIONEERING
AND THE FIRST PROPOLIS EXTRACT

In 1983, the first propolis extract sold in Brazil was launched, the Apis Flora Propolis Extract.

IN BUSINESS FAIR

Here, an important step for Apis Flora, when we were still little known in the market.

1991

BEGINNING OF CONSTRUCTION
OF THE NEW APIS FLORA FACTORY

With a lot of struggle, we finally managed to improve the structure and better distribute the sectors, optimizing the production and administrative processes.

2001

NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATION
ISO 9001

We value constant improvement and achieving this certification, which guarantees the optimization of the quality management processes of a product or service, was a great moment for Apis Flora.

ANVISA CERTIFICATION OF GOOD PRACTICES
OF DRUG MANUFACTURING

Apis Flora is periodically inspected and monitored by the National Health Surveillance Agency - ANVISA and, in 2011, it granted a certificate to our Hive for our commitment to good drug manufacturing practices.
